Koh Lanta is certainly not the most beautiful island in Thailand, but it is one of the islands not to be missed. Really unique. We hope to convince you to visit the island by telling you 7 things to do on Koh Lanta.

1. Koh Lanta by Bike

Getting around Koh Lanta is easy because it’s so small. Rent a scooter and explore! Koh Lanta is not very busy yet, but a bridge is under construction to connect the island to the mainland. This makes it easier for tourists to visit.

2. Koh Lanta 4 Island Tour

Enjoy snorkeling with lots of fish, swim in caves, visit hidden beaches and enjoy a wonderful lunch on a paradise beach. His 4 island tour around Koh Lanta is an amazing experience.

Tip: Never tried snorkeling yet? Ko Rock snorkeling tour is available. We couldn’t go because of the bad weather, but people said it was great.

3. Koh Lanta National Park

Must go by motorbike. Not because the road is bad, but because it is directed. The route to the national park is probably better than the park itself. You can park your car in places where you can’t go by car. On the way to the park, there are monkeys on the road. There is a small entrance fee, but the park is well worth a visit. I hope you don’t see any elephants. That means the elephant ride has been discontinued.

4. Sneak into the pool

We backpacked a trip and didn’t want to spend our money on an expensive resort. If you’re on the same boat but want a refreshing dip in the pool, look no further than Rawi Warin Resort. Then find a small side street that leads to the beach. From there you can walk to the resort and swim in the beautiful pools. Please let me know if it worked!

5. Cats and Dogs!

Koh Lanta has an animal welfare organization, Animal Welfare! Lanta Animal Welfare is funded entirely by volunteers. Visit animal shelters, take guided tours, cuddle cats and walk dogs on the beach.

6. Why Not Bar

Why Not Bar was our favorite bar. The atmosphere and location around this bar is really chilled. The bar is Kantiang Bay beach bar. We are on our way to the national park.

7. Lanta Old Town

Koh Lanta Old Town is only 30-50 minutes by motorbike. It’s a really nice and relaxing track to drive. Old Town on Koh Lanta is a street full of cute little shops like the famous Hammock House and Sandy at Old Town.

Best Time to Visit Koh Lanta

The best season to visit Koh Lanta is from November to April. December, January and February have the best weather. The busyness of this island cannot be compared to Koh Samui in high season.
