1. Manggis – the best dinner restaurant in Canggu
Manggis is a newcomer to Canggu and our personal dinner spot. This beautifully decorated oasis in Berawa is the perfect place to enjoy incredible spaghetti meatballs, nasi chample, chicken satay and chicken nugget salad. And amazingly: Everything is vegan. After trying the spaghetti here, whether you’re vegan or not, you’ll probably choose Manggis over other places.
2. Warung Bu Mi – best value for money
Buffet style fresh vegetables, meat, fish and many vegan options. Warung Bu Mi is the best Indonesian restaurant in Canggu. A full plate (no meat or fish) is around IDR 25,000. (~$1.70)
3. Shady Shack – Canggu’s best vegan restaurant
With an organic atmosphere and delicious vegan/vegetarian food, The Shady Shack is one of our favorite restaurants in Canggu. Be sure to try the Shack Attack Burger or the Bees Knees Nachos.
4. Mocca
Tucked away in a side street of Batu Bolong is Canggu’s most beautiful breakfast option. Delicious vegan options, smoothies and fruit bowls, lots of bread and egg options.
5. Cinta Cafe
Cinta Cafe is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, lunch or dinner overlooking Berawa’s lush rice fields. This cafe serves a blend of local and western cuisines.
Must recommend: falafel bowl.
Tips: Please come early (8am-10am) for the breakfast menu. For IDR 70,000 you can get coffee, fresh juice and one of the main breakfast items.
6. Crate cafe
Find the best breakfast at Crate Cafe. Wide range of western breakfast options, large portions, all for IDR 55,000. (~$3.70)
It is one of the few cafes and restaurants in Canggu that opens at 6am. Great for surfers and early risers.
7. Ji sushi
Enjoy delicious Japanese cuisine with stunning views of Batu Bolong Beach. The rooftop restaurant Ji sushi is a popular spot to enjoy the sunset. If you want a good seat, be sure to make a reservation.
8. Koloni
Koloni is perfect for relaxing gardens, fine dining and interior design inspiration. Expect to pay a little more than average, but I promise you it’s worth it.
9. Copenhagen
Authentic Danish dishes such as rye and sourdough bread and delicious cinnamon rolls. A perfect place for amazing coffee and snacks.
10. Da Romeo Italian
It is the best of all Italian restaurants in Canggu. He makes fresh pizza, delicious pasta and the best lasagna I’ve ever had. A little more expensive than other Italian restaurants, but it’s totally fair. Tips:
Try lasagna bolognese and pizza prosciutto.
11. Secret Spot
Whether you are vegan or not, you can’t ignore Secret Spot Café. Cute interiors, delicious food and yogurt ice cream make it a worthy place on our list of the best cafes in Canggu.
12. Ruko
This great looking cafe in Canggu serves delicious breakfast and lunch his menu. Small room, almost always occupied. Looking at the price and options, I would say it offers the best breakfast in Canggu. Located near Finns Beach Club at the intersection with Bali Bowls.
13. Warung Ambara
Ambara is a small Indonesian warung that offers a wide variety of fresh food at very reasonable prices. A warung in Bali is the number one choice for a quick and delicious lunch.
14. Lupe
Lupe stands out from all other restaurants in Canggu. Build your own burger with his famous Sunday His Roast at a buffet that differs nightly from Italian His Night.
The fixed price for the buffet is he 70,000-110,000 IDR, depending on the type of buffet. And best of all, you can fill plate as many times as you want!
15. Hungry Bird Cafe – Best coffee to have in Canggu
Hungry Bird Coffee will get him off to a perfect start to the day. After testing coffee in Canggu for over 4 months, I can easily say these guys have the best coffee in Canggu. Hungry Bird also offers delicious breakfasts and lunches at affordable prices.
To Note: The Hungry Bird Cafe is closed on Sundays.
16. Peloton Supershop
Not your typical vegan food! Peloton Supershop is an established vegan restaurant in Canggu that aims to change the way people think about veganism. Dishes like ‘Tricken parmi’ are almost indistinguishable from meat. Enjoy a delicious meal with snacks and beverages.
17. Plant cartels
Want to help the environment by going vegan but can’t resist fast food? The Plant Cartel is the place! This vegan fast food restaurant serves delicious fries, burgers and chicken popcorn.
18. DuaTiga
DuaTiga is a big he two storey restaurant in Canggu with a garden area next to rice fields. Thai food is recommended.
19. Coffee&Oven
Freshly baked bread, croissants and a variety of European pastries. Berawa’s Coffee&Oven feels like you’ve stepped into a small bakery in Paris. Start your day off right with a fruit salad served with a croissant and coffee. A very affordable bakery.
20. Quince
Quince is different from all other restaurants in Canggu. Think of quince as fresh, delicious, healthy and experimental. The combination of ingredients is interesting and very delicious. The portions are large, so please come hungry!
21. La Barracca
Run by three Italians, La Baracca is a cozy Italian restaurant. Great variety of pastas and pizzas and a great place for dinner with friends. It has another branch in Uluwatu.
22. I Am Vegan Babe
Fresh, healthy, delicious and all vegan ofcourse. I Am Vegan Babe puts love into everything from the furniture to all the meals and cakes. Tips:

23. Give Cafe
Canggu’s Give Cafe is a sister restaurant to Seminyak’s wildly popular Kynd Cafe. A 100% plant-based restaurant in Canggu. The name “Gibb” represents their vision.
You get wooden coins like credits that you can donate to specific causes like education, animals, or the community.
24. Ritual Coffee & Eatery
It is one of the new hotspots in Canggu, Berawa. How about a good cup of coffee or banana toast with peanut butter? This is the place!
25. Warung Gouthe
Warung Gouthe is not your typical Warung. French restaurant serving an authentic French breakfast with delicious freshly baked pastries and homemade jams. Decorating at Warung Gouthe is like walking into a French living room.
