Kelingking is one of the main tourist attractions in Nusa Penida Island, Bali. It looks like a T-Rex head from above and should be included in your 3-week Bali itinerary. The lookout offers views of the limestone formations, ocean, and Kelingking Beach. This beach is difficult to reach and is probably the most difficult beach in Bali.
Kelingking Beach Viewpoint
Visiting Kelingking Viewpoint is one of the most famous activities in Nusa Penida. The 200m drop with views of T-Rex head and beach is simply amazing.

Remember these tips to avoid most other visitors.
- Start following the trail for about 5 minutes so that there are fewer tourists in your photo.
- Or go all the way to the right from the observatory and find your own spot. Be careful from monkeys!
- Nusa Penida day tour starts at 9:00 AM. Please visit before this time.
- Experience the sunset at Kelingking during your 3-day trip to Nusa Penida.
Newly built in 2018, a road leads directly to the Kelingking viewpoint. It can be easily accessible by car or motorbike.
